Alas! Apple has seeded yet another beta of iOS 6 which arrives via an OTA update rather than a complete firmware download. If you are developer who owns a developer account should go to settings>general>software update to update your device on iOS 6 Beta 2. The prominent features of iOS 6 Beta 2 are still unknown. Since Apple didn’t call it iOS 6 Beta 2, we are not not sure if it’s just an incremental update or a truly another successor of beta 1. Anyways, we will assume that it’s iOS 6 Beta 2 until it’s confirmed.
For iPhone 4, the firmware is of 299 MB of download. However, for iPhone 4S, the firmware download over OTA is greater than 300 MB. One of the reason for Apple to seed the firmware on OTA is to avoid piracy of the iOS 6 Beta which is meant only for the development purpose and had already leaked too much of internal details even after being under NDA. If you are not a developer, we won’t advise you install iOS 6 Beta on any of your device.
Have you noticed any new features on iOS 6 Beta 2? Let’s know in comment sections.
